Sports and Exercising


Instructions for your blog

For this first blog, you will write about sports and how important are they for our health.  Answer the two following questions with your own opinion and using a paragraph format.
  1. Which sports do you like to play? How are they practiced? Mention and explain 2 of them.
  2. What is the importance of playing sports or doing exercise? Talk about the benefits of exercising for our body.

  1. Playing sports more than a hobby is a lifestyle.
    Many people play sports to maintain their health, others for fun, but no matter the reason why you are practicing a sport, what matters is that you are improving aspects of your life when you are doing exercise.
    There are many kinds of sports including: volleyball, basketball, football, baseball, scuba diving and others.
    Since I was a child I loved to go swimming, for practicing this sport you have to go to a pool or maybe to the sea, and then you have to enter the water and move arms and legs simultaneously, to float. Although it requires a lot of discipline, is excellent for relaxation. You can also play with balls and friends in the water.
    Another sport I like to do is running. For this sport you don't need many things, otherwise, you only need a wide field and good energy.
    Exercising our body has many advantages, such an excellent state of health, high energy, improves heart performance, improves lung function, blood, kidneys and avoids diseases. For that and other reasons we have to practice sport, it is really good for us.

  2. Sports are a way to exercise and in the same time get fun, sports are really good for health and help to avoid diseases, so many people say that help extend the life.
    There are many sports, like: soccer, swimming, volleyball, cheerleading, badminton, skydiving, biking, and tennis.
    My favorite sport is swimming, in my opinion is the best sport for the heart and help to have a good breathing and physical condition. For practicing this sport you need a pool and swimsuit and you should have a lot of concentration.
    My second favorite sport is tennis, for practicing this sport you need a ball, two rackets, one network, and two players, I like this sport because it’s good for arms and legs, and it helps to have a good coordination.
    The benefits of the sports are that you can have more energy, a good health, and help you feel better.

  3. Sports in my opinion are to have a good life, live healthy and do exercises. I like to play soccer, practice swimming pool, and ride the bike and walking. I will explain first soccer because I love. First able soccer is play in stadium, the stadium have the FIFA regulations, and have eleven player of each team and seven player for change to the headlines, the change of players is maximum three for each team. I practice soccer about three times of a week. And the second is swimming pool, this practices in pool, the pool exist the different widths and funds according to the place. The people practice this sports they always wear specific clothes, for example the swimming cap.
    Do exercises and play sports make good profits in our body, one changes is greatly improves circulations system, and other changes you have more energy when playing sports, and you body very great according to their wealth.

  4. Sports are too important for our life, because helps to improve both physical and psychological health, extending life in a healthy way. If we do exercise or sports, many diseases that can complicate our health can decrease.
    • Basketball is one of the games that require jumping as a skill. The main things to practice on the court are dribbling, body control, ball control, shooting and both a good offensive and defensive techniques. And Tennis is very exhausting game. The player needs a racket, a hollow rubber ball, a net into the opponent's court.
    • Playing sports and doing exercises helps to have a good mood. The people who play sports have a more positive body image than the people who do not. Sports can teach a person to interact with many people who also like the sports you do.

  5. The sports are a good way to keep in form and have a good life, they give you a good health and also you’ll feel better about yourself. If you dont do any type of sport, might have a chance of health problems and isn’t good for you.
    Well I love all the sports, but I like most volleyball, for practice this sport you just need a ball and more players, this is a good sport because you can tone your arms and legs.
    The other sport that I like is tennis, you only need a racket, ball and friends and while you play, you are improving your health.
    Doing sports and doing exercises is very important because you’ll have fewer heart problems and this give you a lot of energy. So it’s better go and do exercises or some sport at least twice a week, than being in your home sometimes with health problems.

  6. The sports are usually practiced in the leisure time. The most people in the world practice sport or exercises. These sports are practiced for: Children, teens, adults and grand-parents, the sport do not have age or gender. When you do sports you have to enjoy it, because if you enjoy will be nicer.I like to play volleyball because from I was child, I played it with my cousins and we enjoyed it a lot. The volleyball consist in hit the ball with any part of your body (arms, head, foot, chest...), you have to pass the ball over the net, and for score a point, the ball have to fall on the floor of the other team.Also I love the surf; I was surfing from 6 months ago until this moment. For me, it is the best sport of the world, to surf you only needs paraffin, a retro surfboard and a excellent tide.If you do sports or exercises: You are healthy, you Lose weight, you have more energy, and if you eat healthy, you avoid diseases and avoid cardiovascular problems; and you can live quiet and without nervous. For this you need to practiced exercises or sports, 3 times for week, 60 minutes every day. If you do this routine excellent if you do not do this.

  7. The importance of exercise is that it improves the quality of life in people .Is important because it benefits us both internally and externally, allows the good blood circulation , and keeps us healthy in many of the diseases.

    I like swimming, ... but I loved the cheerleading( It is my favorite sport)

    *For swimming: you need a pool, and friends to swim with them.

    *For cheerleading is needed: a team, a coach, have spirit, and most importantly, be ready for anything (willpower).

    * I think exercise is excellent, as individuals we will feel better physically and psychologically, because we'll feel more energetic and can do different things.
    we should exercise every day to prevent disease and be proud of ourselves.

  8. Sports are hobbies and lifestyle at the same time. Sports are very important in society because it make people stayed healthy. All people should do at least one sport so they can stay physically an mentally healthy.
    There are a lot of sports like: football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and other…
    My favorite sports are: Tennis, because it is very competitive but in a good way, you need a racket, the appropriate clothes and a partner to play. I also like dancing, because you can enjoy music at the same time you are exercising, you just need music and (for having more fun) friends to dance.
    The exercises help people to have better body conditions: like to improve the health in the heart and in all the parts of the body including the mind because there are some sports that you can practice for improving your mind conditions.

  9. Exercising is important because it is necessary for physical fitness and good health. It may help you to reduce the risk of some diseases such as heart diseases, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and others. To exercise is also a key to lose or maintain your weight because it burns calories. Exercise reduces stress, lifts moods, and helps you sleep better. It can keep you looking and feeling younger throughout your entire life.
    If you start to exercise regularly, you will discover more reasons why exercising its important and also why sometimes it may be funny, because you can exercise while you practice your favorite sport.
    One of the sports that in enjoy the most is swimming; to practice it you need a swimsuit and a pool, that´s basically it. And it consists on moving your arms and legs at the same time, so you can swim.
    The other sport that I like is to dance; I consider it a sport because you exercise while you move your entire body dancing and depending on the type of dance that you like to practice you need a partner or anything.

  11. Sport is more than just a way of passing time is a way to express themselves and for other persons a way of life. The majority of sports are interesting but I’m really interested in two of them the soccer and the baseball. The Soccer consists in kick the ball with the feet to score a goal in the goalposts and the baseball is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams with nine players each to score a goal you need to hitting a ball and touching a series of four bases. When you practice sports you feel more energetic and happy and you are healthier. Too the Sports provide opportunities to improve the psychological development of the athletes.

All the sports are great for our health, one advantage are that in the same time you enjoy when you do exercises . the spots keeps you in a good form, with healt, and are good because keeps relaxed your body. preserve with a good energy, a good health in your heart. Help the circulatory system and the physical condition. Is important to do many sport or do exercises because gives more years for life and reduce the disease..i love do exercises. In this moment I practice cheerleading and is when the people make diferent stunts and jumps, dance and gymnastics, you need to practice this sport is a team about 15 or 25 persons and many reason to make this sport.
    this is a passion since when I was child .

The sports keep us fit and healthy in good which is good to have a full life my favorite sports are soccer and ping pong the futboll .Soccer is practiced on grass usually with 2 teams of 11 players with the winner decided by who scores the most goals, you need the proper equipment to avoid injuries and wounds to player. The ping pong is played on table with ned and a two or four players with their paddles.
    Sport is a good alternative if you want to lose weight or have a long and healthy life sport moves us away from drugs and recommends discipline gives us sport everyone is a good method to improve our lives.

  14. Sports are very important in our life because they are very healthy and help us to be in a good shape.There are many types of sports that help in different areas such physical, mental and psychological to help people recover from illness or continue healthy.
    • I like a lot of sports but one of my favorite is soccer. The soccer is played by twenty-two players divide into two teams of eleven players. They play in a soccer field for ninety minutes. These are divided into two halves of forty-five minutes each of them.
    • The second sport that I like is mountain bike. This sport is about going to the mountain or some place on a bike alone or with a friend when you want.

  15. The sport is a very essential part in our lives. Since it is essential to keep in good health, helps maintain a good body, and have more energy.
    one of the most popular sports practiced by or more people are soccer, basketball, swimming, athletics ... the sport that I'd like to practice is because it is very interesting and fun ... for this sport, the requirements are, have a minimum height of 1.65 meters in height, also requires having very good physical condition for what is called a very good workout.
    the basketball is played with two different teams each have to insert the ball in the basket of the opposing team who has the most entries wins.

  16. In my opinion sports is a very important part of our lives and each has many benefits in itself, helps us stay fit and healthy also keep us busy in our spare time. In my case I like to swim, this is a sport that consists of moving a person in the water, without touching the ground for this sport you need to know swimming and special glasses for water.

    A popular sport is football that is played in teams of 11 players each and a referee, who ensures that the rules are properly followed, is played with a ball. Another team sport is basketball in which two sets of five players each try to score points, also called double baskets or introducing a ball into a hoop.

    All these sports have something in common as the practice of these helps us to have good health and feel better.

  17. THE SPORT IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE HEALTHIER . MY FAVORITES SPORTS ARE THE SOCCER AND TENNIS. SOCCER IS VERY IMPORTANT IN MY LIVE , ALL MY DAY I THINK IN SOCCER AND I LOVE TO WATCH ALL THE SOCCER MATCHES FROM LIGA DEPORTIVA ALAJUELENSE , BARCLONA , AND MANCHESTER UNITED , THIS 3 TEAMS ARE MY FAVORITES . IN TENNIS MY FAVORITES PLAYERS ARE ROGER FEDRER AND NOVAK DJOKOVIC , AND I LOVE THE TENNIS TOO. FOR PLAY SOCCER IS VERY IMPORTANT THE SOCCER BALL , SOCCER FIELD , AND TWO GOALS . IN TENNIS THE TENNIS BALL , RAQUETS , AND THE TENNIS FIELD .

  18. The sports it's a way to keep our body in shape and with good health, some sports help our body to keep it with good healt and reduce the risk to have a sick or a disease and other sports are only played only for fun and a lot of people around the world enjoy it.

    1) • Basketball: The basketball it's a very physical game, because there it's to much contact between the players, the basket, is played in 4 quarters of 15 minutes each one. The objective of the game is to score the most puntuation in the game. This sport was invented in EE.UU. and it's one of the most popular game in all the world, specially in America.

    • American Football: It's the most popular sport in the United States, is played with to team of eleven players each with a particular ball, in spherical form and the objective of the game it's to introduce the ball in the goal zone and the team that score much points will win the game.

    2) The sports are practiced by millions of people in all the planet, and there is hundreds of sports, each sport have different results, but all have the same objective, to keep our body in shape and with energy to played and don't have sick or physical diseases.

  19. In the world exist many kinds of sports according with the culture or the society, for example exist water sport, extreme sports, single or group sports, etc.
    The sports are very important in the life of each person, because are the healthiest form to maintain the body and the mind healthy. It is also one of the best ways to lose weight.
    For me, the sports are my passion, one of my favorites sports is the dance, because is a form of free expression, and is so easy to practice, you just need music, feeling, inspiration and a large space and start to move!!. Other sport that I love is swimming, is very relaxing and refreshes… this sport consist in swim in a pool and just fun…
    The sports help the health of the body, for example: the breath is better, improves balance, etc.

  20. Practice a Sport is so cool! it keeps you healty and happy!..doing Exorcise produce endorphins...Endorphins are what our body produce when where are in love,something that make us feel great! [: and that is because doing exercise it's so nice!
    Exercise really make us feel GOOD!... and of course, keep us healty, free of diseases and with a lot of energy!

    Sometimes I go out to run, or go to the gym, although I don't practice any sport...but anyway, if I have to practice someone... I wil love to swim! water it's the greatest thing in the world! And stay in the sea! ohhh! i want to go to the beach to swimming there!! that would be amazing!....
    Another sport I like so much... it's the baseball!... it looks like so amazing! I love when they do a homerun! and have to run in to the bases! and in the stadium the multitude tremble!! that it's exciting!

    So...yes, Sports are awesome!...And so importants...one of the best things of the life! and to live...

  21. When the people were kids, they looked as a little batteries and they can do exercise all the day. I‘m not a kid now, but I like to play sports as the soccer with my cousin. The soccer is the most important in the World. It is practice with 11 players per team (2 teams), two porters and a ball the objective is simple, the team that make more “goles” in 90 minutes, wins.

    The people don‘t mention that walking is a sport, but I yes. I love quiet places, you can think, read, sit in grass or “walk”. For me, take 30 minutes of our lives for walk and have peace is the best sport of all.

    Definitely the sports have a great importance in our body and mind. Have a strong heart or more energy are only two benefits of exercise. If you don‘t belive me, play sports!!! ;)

  22. The sports are too important in our lifes, because there purify all in our organism and it maintains our body in shape.
    I like to play Badminton but I can't practice it very frequently.
    •Badminton: Is a racquet sportplayed by either two opposing players, who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net, players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racquet so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponents' half of the court.
    •Volleyball: is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net, each team tries to score points by a ball.
    ♥ Sports and exercises help in strengthening and toning the muscles and bones in the body. In short, the importance of sports for kids is that it keeps them in an excellent shape.

  23. I like to play the basketball and soccer with my friends because is very funny but i dont play very well but always enjoy play this sports. The basketball you use the color red ball, you should sting ball and dunk the ball for win; you can pratice others sports for example the soccer, it is smilar at the basketball but the soccer you play kicking the ball.
    The practice this sports is very important for you healthy because you have the happy heart and you can lost weight and the high choresterol and avoid others diseases; so it is important that you pratice some sport and that you make exercise for you to have a healthy body. :)

    My favorite sport is road, because I wrie when I was borried or when I was inspired, because is relaxed. When I write,I wrote fellings or something I do,because I write about my life.
    The exercise or the sports are important bacause the body need energy for doing things. Are important too,because its good for the people make exercises
    The benefits for the body are:
    energy, fell better and do different somethings.

  25. Sports are very common in people today because is healthy for owns lifes... Now a days many people do exercise to prevent disease. Now i practice soccer and volleyball. are very exiting... Soccer is played with eleven players: one flying goal keeper, three defenders, four ruffles and three forwards ande the objetive is to kick the ball to score a point wich popularly is called gool!! And volleyball is played with seven persons and they throwing the ball is played over a network game and when the ball falls where the opponents on the ground unable to save the ball wins one point who throw the ball. It´s important to do exersise because you maybe have a good health and you probably have to avoid risk to desease.Te benefits of exercisefor your body are you´ll feel beter you will have very healthy exercise your muscles in occasions if you want to lose weight or have an exellent figure. maria jesus gonzalez ramirez

  26. Practicing sports is very helpful for our body because playing sports you maintain your physic condition and your health as much you can. Some people practice sports as a hobbie, anothers practice it as work and for others is like their lifestyle! I love to play soccer is my favorite sport, I love it since I was a little child, another sport that I like is tennis but I don't have enough time to maintain me practicing it... For soccer you need two teams with eleven players for each team one soccer ball and soccer shoes for each player, for tennis is very diferent as soccer in tennis there are just tw players against each other, they use tennis shoes and very comfortable clothes that helps to move faster, a racquet each other and a tennis ball Doing excercise keep your body healthy and in a good condition.
